The 2011 UEFA Champions League Final will be held at Wembley Stadium, London, on May 28, 2011.

It will be a record sixth time that Wembley has hosted the final of the world's greatest football club competition, after the finals of 1963, 1968, 1971, 1978 and 1992. It will be the first time the Champions League is staged in the new Wembley, which opened in 2007.

The 90,000-seater stadium is one of the world's best, offering superb views from every seat and excellent facilities. Wembley beat bids from the Allianz Arena in Munich and the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

The Champions League Final was last held in the UK in 2003 when AC Milan beat Juventus at Old Trafford.
